Pirifomospora indica, a newly discovered arbuscular mycorrhiza like fungi, is one of the most widely studied endosymbiont of recent times. The fungus has been explored for various benefits viz. plant growth promotion, improved nutrient uptake, enhance elemental absorption, stress tolerance and elicitation etc. The present book will provide an insight to experimental protocols and practice for its exploration for phytopromotional and biofertilizer potential. A detailed explaination of parameters to be studied for plant growth promotion and its impact analysis are included for a beginner and scientists involved in studies on mycorrhizal fungi. Case studies on plants, Cassia angustifolia (Senna), Cucurbita maxima (Pumpkin) and Mucuna pruriens (Kounch Kala) have been included in lucid and self explanatory manner.
