Beschreibung
The book is a carefully researched study conducted in Southern Nigeria. It assesses the distribution of mangrove resources with specific interests in Nypa Fruiticans. The book uses core biogeographical analytic tools to examine how species are spatially oriented within the study area of Southern Nigeria. The alpha Beta indices of Simpsons Diversity Index and Sorensons Similarities Index were used to show variations in the distribution of species. The book reveals that socioeconomic indices as well as physical processes like tidal movement could play critical role on how mangrove species are distributed within estuaries.
