This book is a brief introduction to the statistical software SPSS (now known as IBM SPSS Statistics). It is aimed primarily at students doing their final year dissertations who need a basic knowledge on how to use SPSS. It is a step-by-step guidance with several activities to help the students learn this software quickly and efficiently. As an introductory text, it covers only the main statistical tests that both undergraduate and postgraduate (MBA) students would need for their quantitative data analysis. The main topics covered include how to use SPSS to do Data Input, simple Frequency Analysis, using Transform Command (Compute and Recode), doing Cross Tabulations, performing Chi-Square Tests, T-Tests, ANOVA, Correlation, Regression and Factor Analysis.

He has a PhD in Mathematical Modelling from Loughborough University. SPSS Made Easy is his second book after Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Sputtering and Radiation Damage.
