Beschreibung

Small and medium sized enterprises should be actively supported in providing the incompany VET as well as the further vocational education of their employees. The intercompany vocational training centres (ÜBS) contribute to ensuring these processes. For this reason, they receive funding from the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and from the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). These funds support the equipment needed for the delivery of occupationally- specific teaching programmes and courses, the construction of educational facilities (both architectural modernisation of buildings and new construction) and the further development into a centre of excellence. In order to assess the impact of these measures of support and its efficiency an evaluation was carried out. This report shows the results of the evaluation.
