Beschreibung

The turbulent flow of fiber suspensions can be found in many areas of industry, such as the production of the composite materials, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, textile industry, paper making and so on. Fiber suspensions in turbulent flow affect the transport, rheology and light scattering properties of suspensions that are of great interest in many areas of science and industry. Fiber suspensions property has a significant effect on the quality of the products. The behavior of dust particles in a turbulent fluid depends on the concentration of the particles and on the size of the particles with respect to the scale of turbulent fluid. In a rotating system of turbulent flow, the Coriolis force plays an important role due to rotation, while the centrifugal force with the potential is incorporated into the pressure.
