On the Logic of Ideocracies II': This volume centers on the analysis of ideology-driven dictatorships (Ideocracies) and, inspired by critical rationalism and its procedures of critical verification, offers reflections on a critical theory of totali-tarianism. Research on totalitarianism encompasses the analysis of totalitarian dictatorships as well as forms of totalitarian thinking and respective modes of problem solving.

Lothar Fritze, geb. 1954; 1974 bis 1978 Studium der Sozialistischen Betriebswirtschaft an der TH Karl-Marx-Stadt (Dipl.-Ing. oec); 1988 Promotion in Philosophie an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; 1997 Habilitation in Politikwissenschaft an der TU Chemnitz. Fritze war von 1993 bis 2019 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Hannah-Arendt-Institut für Totalitarismusforschung an der TU Dresden und lehrte ab 2007 als außerplanmäßiger Professor Politikwissenschaft an der TU Chemnitz.
